Travel by train from within the UK and main airports
Fast and frequent train services link all regions of the UK to Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea either direct or with one easy interchange. Travelling on to the valleys and rural areas
Buy your bus ticket for onward travel from Neath or Port Talbot stations with your train ticket at principal National Rail stations. Plus Bus tickets give unlimited travel for one day by bus in the area for a modest flat fare.
Buses from Port Talbot
Most buses will leave from the Transport Hub adjacent to Parkway station. Otherwise, use the Bus Station, 1 kilometre, a 10 minute walk. Taxis are available at Port Talbot station.
Buses from Neath
All buses leave from the Victoria Gardens Bus Station, 0.5 km, a 5 minute walk. Taxis are available at Neath station.
Travelling by Bus and Coach from within the UK and main airports
Frequent coach services to link all regions of the UK to Port Talbot and Swansea either direct or with one easy interchange. National Express direct to Port Talbot and Swansea from Central London, Gatwick and Heathrow Airports, the North, Midlands and Bristol. Megabus direct to Swansea from London, Bristol and Birmingham.
Travelling on to the valleys and rural areas
Local bus services leave from adjacent stops at Port Talbot bus station to Margam, the Afan Valley and Neath. Buses to the valleys leave from adjacent bus stops in Swansea bus station.
Getting around by bus
An extensive network of local buses serves the rural areas of Neath, Port Talbot and Valleys.
Cymru Clipper express buses from Neath, Port Talbot and Swansea provide easy and inexpensive travel to the valleys and rural areas: Waterfall Country, Margam Country Park, Afan Forest Park* and the Swansea Valley.
